Thread: Distance from point to line, the length of a segment, and equation of a circle

I have this project on those 3 topics on the title. I'm using an nba basketball court for my presentations.

Dimensions of the nba court:

I'm not really good at math, at all. So how would I do those 3 topics? My teacher said I have to do a graph also, but I don't know what to graph, is it just the court itself?

So it seems to be that you have to do a project about distance from point to line, lenght of straight segment and equation of circle using a basketball court, right?

Well, look carefully at the court dimensions and now you decide what point and line to choose to calculate their distance, what straight segment

of line to choose to calculate its length and what circle (or PART of a circle) to choose to calculate its equation knowing it radius...
