    Simplifying a Geometric Sequence

    If there's commands I could be using to make this look better, I'm sorry! Only about half of them are loading for me.

    Simplify this:

    A(sub)n = 64(1/2)^(n-1)

    Do you mean like this?

    \displaystyle A_{n} = 64\left( \frac{1}{2}\right)^{n-1}  = 64\frac{\left( \frac{1}{2}\right)^{n}}{\left( \frac{1}{2}\right)^{1}}

    Finish it off.
