The question is essentially asking what is the equation of a cosine graph with a period of 12 degrees.

The general form of a cosine graph is as follows:

y=Acos(Bx+C)+D

The formula for the period is (360/B) or (2pi/B), the former for degrees, the latter for radians.

So we have 360/B=12

B=30, and I believe this is the horizontal dilation factor.

So we have: f(x)=cos(30x)

P.S. My latex keeps on saying: "LaTeX ERROR: Unknown error", so I couldn't use latex for any of the math. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
