    Inverses of (f o g)(x) (g o f)(x)

    Hello new to this forum hopefully I ask this properly.... so my problem is this
    Let f(x) = e^x and g(x) = ln x
    Compute (f o g)(x) and (g o f)(x) and last are f and g inverses explain?

    Review your notes and textbook.
    Once that is done it will be clear how to answer these:
    e^{\ln(x)}=~?~\&~\ln(e^x)=~?

    Thank you I was just afraid there might have been some sort of trick.... cuz usually when something comes out that easy its because you have done something wrong or missed a step.
