    Position vectors

    PQRS is a parraellelogram. The postion vectors of P,Q,R and S are , respectively:
    p=-3k, q=i+yj, r=5i+2xj+k and s=yi-2k.
    The values of x and y are?

    Draw a diagram. Get an expression for the vectors PQ and SR. Equate them and hence get two equations in x and y. Solve simultaneously.
