    more complex numbers help - polar form.

    write the trig form of the complex numbers and perform the operation using the trig forms:

    (square root of 3 + i)(1+i)

    So when you convert to polar form, you must convert the first number by (x^2 + y^2)=r^2. r in this case is the first value of you're new polar equation. You're next value will be found by the inverse tangent function of (y/x). This will give you you're second value of polar form so it would look like this in polar form (a number, another number)
