    Exclamation polynomial question

    hi,
    I have this problem:
    Given the polynomial below:
    82 x^4−50 x^3−98 x+56
what are its degree a, the coefficient b of x, and the value c of its constant term (if there is no constant term, answer 0)?
I don't understand what I have to do, or how to solve this. Do I factorise it? or solve it? or something else? can someone please help!

    any help will be appreciated,
    thanks

The first thing you have to do is look up some definitions. This problem is not asking you to do anything to the polynomial, just identify parts of it.

What does the "degree" of a polynomial mean? What is the degree of this polynomial.

Do you know what a "coefficient" is? What is the coefficient of x.

Do you know what a "constant term" of a polynomial is? What is the constant term of this polynomial?

If you do not know what any of those things mean, look them up. I'll bet they are defined withing a few pages of this problem in your text book.
