    Help needed finding the X intercept

    i need to find the x intercept of the below formula can anyone help and possibly show me how its worked out ? i've spent hours attempting and failing now and its driving me nuts!

    f(x)= x^2 + 3x / 2x^2 +6x + 4

    f(x) = \dfrac{x(x+3)}{2(x+2)(x+1)} = 0

    Thus the graph has x intercepts of 0 and -3
