Logs: What is b/a?
This isn't a homework question. I just want to know how to do this out of curiosity. It looks like something my teacher would put on a quiz, lol.

You need to find $\displaystyle\frac{b}{a}$ such that $\displaystyle\log_9a = \log_{12}b = \log_{16}(a+b)$

Now looking at the first part of the equation $\displaystyle\log_9a = \log_{12}b$

For these to be equal $\displaystyle a = 1$ and $b = 1$ , are there any other values that work?

but does this hold for the third part of the equation?
