    Finding Domain and Range of function

    Please help on reaching this Domain and Range of the function:

    5y( x- 1)( x-3 )=2(5x + 3)

    its Domain and Range :
    D: x ≠ 1 , 3
    R: {y|y ≥ -1/5 or y ≥ - 5}

    i would like to know how to reach the solution on domain and range . i'm so confused.

    If you write it on a more familiar form: y = \frac{2(5x+3)}{5(x-1)(x-3)} you'll see that it is undefined for x=1 and x=3 since the denominator is 0 for those two values.

    How about showing the Solution before plugging in the values of x which is done by cases.
    im a little confused now.
