    \sum^{99}_{n=0}2^n(100C(n+1))

    100C(n+1) is meant to be combinatorics C(100,n+1)

    Here is a hint: \displaystyle 3^{100}=(2+1)^{100}=\sum\limits_{n = 0}^{100} {\binom{100}{n}2^n} .
