Hello, I know that sqrt(x^2) = +/- x is (sqrt(x))^2 the same thing or is the answer just x. thanks bill

thanks. so does (sqrt(x))^2 = |x| or just x ?
$\displaystyle (\sqrt{x})^2=x$ because $\displaystyle x$ must be non-negative.
