    domain & range

    Hello.
    i got two tricky problems.. I have to find the domain and range of the following two functions
    1.y=[sin(x)/{1+tan(x)^2}^1/2}]-[cos(x)/{1+cot(x)^2}^1/2]
    2.y=tan(pie[x^2-x])/1+sincos(x) []=box function or greatest integer function

    A piece of advice: take a look at our "Math Resources" section, in "LaTeX help", to learn how to type formulae with LaTeX. To decyphrate and try to solve your equations as they're written is a rather cumbersome task, and many times after that the OP finds out there's a typing error and that's annoying.
    If you learn now how to basically type in LaTeX your maths writing will be far clearer and people shall be more willing to invest some effort trying to help you.
