    How can i simplify this?

If a and h are real numbers,

    1. f(x) = 1_
    x

    f(a+h) - f(a)
    h

    = (1/a+h) - (1 / a)
    h

is this correct, if so, can it be simplified?

Yes, and it can be simplified. What you need to do is add the fractions together and proceed from there.
