Hey everybody this is my first time finding a forum that is specially dedicated to math....which is great! Anyways I have two different questions both I have solved but I would like to know if they are right.

1. A force of 125lb makes an angle of 65 degrees with a force of 250lb. Find the magnitude of the resultant force and find the angle between the resultant force makes with the 250lb force.

O.K. for this question I got 323.3lb=Magnitude of resultant. Angle=20.5 Degrees

2. What bearing and Airspeed are required for a plane to fly 600 miles due north in 1.5 hrs if the wind is blowing form the west at 28 mph?

Airspeed I got 401mph. Bearing I got 94 degrees of N 94 W.

Again I would like confirmation on both these questions thanks!

#1 is fine

#2 ... airspeed ok , direction is 4 degrees W of N (in air navigation terms, a heading of 356 degrees relative to True North)
