1. polar coordinate equation

For the polar coordinate equation:

r=>>>> >>>> 6
>>>>>>> -----------
>>>>>>> 2-sin θ

A). What is the shape of this equation?
Explain how I can graph it/ how to do the work

B) Convert this equation into an expression with the same graph in rectangular coordinates (x,y).

Thank You muchly Im lost

I cant figure it out help me please!!

A). Refer to your class notes or textbook on how to draw graphs of curves defined using polar coordinates.

B). $r = \frac{6}{2 - \sin \theta} \Rightarrow 2r - r \sin \theta = 6 \Rightarrow 2 \sqrt{x^2 + y^2} - y = 6 \Rightarrow 2 \sqrt{x^2 + y^2} = 6 + y$.

Now square both sides and simplify to get would should be a familiar relation.
