I'm trying to rearrange this formula :

y = x*((1-(0.92^((x/2-120)/10+1)))/0.08)

to make x the subject ie. x = ...

Can someone show me how I can do this?

That has x both in the exponent of a number and just multiplied so you will not be able to solve it with "elementary" functions.

You might be able to rewrite it so that you could solve it in terms of "Lambert's W function" which is defined as the inverse function to .
