A constant force F = <23,33> moves an object along a vector D = <20,18> where units are in pounds and feet. Find work done. Please show ALL steps used to solve this problem.

Recall that:

Work Done = Force x Displacement.

(Taking 1 unit = 1 metre, and 1 unit of force = 1 N)

Work done in x-direction = 23 x 20 = 460 J
Work done in y-direction = 33 x 18 = 594 J

Total work done = 460 + 594 = 1054 J = 1.054 kJ
