    Graph the function y =(x-1)(x-5)

    graph the function y =(x-1)(x-5)

    a. What kind of function is it?
    b. What are the zeros of this function?
    c. what is the equation of the axis of symmetry for this function?
    d. Without graphing, determine the zeros and the equation of the axis of symmetry for the following functions.

    y = ( x-3)(x-7) and y= (x+2)(x-6)

    Were you able to answer any of these?

    a. quadratic
    b. 1, 5
    c. x = 3 (midpiont between 1 and 5)
    d. follow same procedure
