# Math Help - Hyperbolic Functions

1. ## Hyperbolic Functions

I'm having an issue with Hyperbolic Functions!
I have read through examples on proving hyperbolic identities here but I am struggling to relate it to this equation:

cosh2x=2cosh^2x-1

i know coshx = (e^x+e^-x)/2

I'm also a little weak on exponentional and logarithm

cheers

Try starting on the RHS and simplifying until you arrive at the LHS
