1. ## Graphing Functions

How do I graph and state the range, asymptotes and intercepts for:

g(x)=-8/x-4

h(x)=2(x-1)squared-2

f(x)=4/xsquared+1

Thanks,

H

You need to be clearer in what you need to graph. For example the first question.

Is it $g(x)=\frac{-8}{x}-4$ or $g(x)=\frac{-8}{x-4}$ ??

These functions will give different asymptotes, intercepts, domain etc...

3. The second one, thanks.
i.e. -8 is divided by x-4

Well solve for $x-4 \neq 0$ for your vertical asymptote. Do you know the shape of this function? I suggest using a graphical calculator.
