    exponetial form

    For this function log.01=-2

    I got 10^-2=.01 is this correct?

    What are you trying to find?

    It is true that log_{10}(0.01) = -2. This is because 0.01 = 10^{-2} and using the power law

    \log_{10} 10^{-2} = -2\,\log_{10} 10 = -2
