    Red face What is the formula for this pattern?

    This is a simple problem but I can't seem to figure it out.

    X = 1, Y = 0
    X = 2, Y = 10
    X = 3, Y = 30
    X = 4, Y = 70
    X = 5, Y = 150

    Difference between each point starts at 10. The next point multiplies current difference by 2 and the adds up the previous' total.

    Difference between each point
    1-2 = 10
    2-3 = 20
    3-4 = 40
    4-5 = 80
