Find the exact value of $sin 2\theta, cos 2\theta,$ and $tan 2\theta$ for the given values of $\theta$

$sec\theta = -3 ; \frac{\pi}{2}$ is greater than $\theta$ or less than $\pi$

Can someone show me how you solve this

2. sec(x) = 1/cos(x) so essentially you're looking for arccos(-1/3) as 1/(-1/3)=-3

I'm quite certain you've mistranslated the question as I don't know exactly what bounds it is looking for but there is no value of theta between 0 and pi/2 that will give you that answer.
