y = Asin(kx + p)

Thus k (the "wave number") = (pi)

k is related to the wavelength (lambda) by:
(lambda) = (2*(pi))/k

So (lambda) = 2.

You can verify this on the graph below.

After you hit "quote" scroll down the page below the "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post" buttons. The second option box in the "Additional Options" border contains a button called "Manage Attachments." Click this and a new window will open that will allow you to attach files to your post.

For the record I use a program called "Graph" which I got from the website: Graph which I got a tip about from someone on the forum. (Apologies, I've forgotten who, but I THINK it was ThePerfectHacker.)
