    asymptotes

    Find the asymptotes of \frac {1}{f}

    My answer: x=2 and y= -1/3 (x -> +oo )

    but I can't get anything when x -> -oo

    Hi JoanF,

    yes, there are two asymptotes.

    As x\rightarrow-\infty,\ y=\frac{1}{f}\rightarrow\ \infty

    The graph is not asymptotic there,
    to be asymptotic, the graph approaches a straight line.
