Do you understand that 3 - 4j is a complex number and your job is to find two other complex numbers of the form a + jb (where a and b are real) such that (a + jb)^2 = 3 - 4j?

Note for the uninitiated: j is the symbol for \sqrt{-1} used by electrical engineers.
