    logarithm question

    I hope I am posting this in right place, but can you please help me solve this:

    lg16/3 + lgx = lg12

    I refer you to two properties of logs ...

    1. log(a) + log(b) = log(ab)

    2. if log(x) = log(y) , then x = y
