You cannot take the square root of a negative number and you cannot have 0 as a denominator. For what values of x are the expressions in side the square roots negative? For what values of x is the denominator in the second function 0? The domains of the first function is all numbers except those that make the expression inside the square root, 7x- 3, negative. The domain for the second function is all numbers except those that make the expression inside the square root, x, negative or that make the denominator, 6x^2- 5x+ 1, equal to 0.

For the first one, anything under the sqare root has to be non-negative.

    so 7-3x >/= 0

solve for x. and you should have you domain.

    Domain

here's how you find the domain... 7-3x>0 so 7>3x divide both sides by three then you get 7/3>x interchange x<7/3 so the domain is all numbers less than 7/3

for the second one.. find the zeros and the domain is all real numbers except those zeros..
