    equation of a line

uhmmm... so far, i'm very impressed in this forum for this forum is one of the reasons why i excel so far in maths. again, advanced thanks to everyone

    here's my question:

1.) a line passes through (-2,3), and the segment of the line intercepted between the axes is of length 5√2 Find the equation of the line.

2.) a right triangle is formed by the x-axis, y-axis and the line 3x-4y=24. Find:

    a.) length of the hypotenuse
    b.) midpoint of the hypotenuse
    c.) equation of the hypotenuse

    Between the what axis?

2.) a right triangle is formed by the x-axis, y-axis and the line 3x-4y=24. Find:

a.) length of the hypotenuse = lenght is sqrt(x^2+y^2)
    b.) midpoint of the hypotenuse = (x2-x1)/2 + (y2-y1)/2
    c.) equation of the hypotenuse = y/x = k then solve for x = 0

    THANKS [/quote]
