For what values of m are the roots of the equation 4x^2 + 8x - 8 = m (4x-3) real? If α, β are the roots of this equation, find in terms of m, an equation with roots α + 3, β + 3.

I have no idea what all that stuff means.. Can someone show me the steps please? Do I find the sum and product?
