    Given the function... find the domain

    Can someone show me how to do a problem like this...

    f(x) = x^2 + 3x - 40
    ------------------
    x^2 - 4x - 12

    Find the domain means that you find all possible values of x. To find all possible values of x, you need to know the values of x that make the function undefined.

    For rational function, the function will be undefined if the denominator .....
