    Hello, rcmango!

    Find the cartesian coordinates of the points with polar coordinates (6, π/3)
    There are formulas for this problem.

    Given polar coordinates: .(r, θ)

    . . x .= .r·cosθ
    . . y .= .r·sinθ

    We are given: .r = 6, .θ = π/3

    Hence: . x .= .6·cos(π/3) .= .6(1/2) .= .3
    . . . . . . y .= .6·sin(π/3) .= .6(sqrt{3}/2) .= .3sqrt{3}

    . . . . . . . . . . ._
    Answer: .(3, 3√3)
