    Wierd Equation curve..need help to solve

    Hi all
    I have the following equation to solve and dont know how to go about it..

    3.9*(x*y)^2 - 37.21*x*y - 7.44*y - 1.3*x = 0

    Please let me know how to solve this equation..

    There are infinitely many values.
    I graphed this relation, it looks slighly hyperbolic.

    Yup there are infinite values..the application is x and y denote the width and length of resistor and I want to find the area(x*y)..Even if I can get the area then I can manage on my own...

    Meaning you want the y-axis to be x*y=Area and the x-axis to be just x?
    It is very similar to the graph 11/x, thus the area is almost constant at 11.
