    Function of X

    Which equation does not represent y as a function of x? explain why?
    a) x= -6y+5
    b) x= 3
    c) y= -4x+5
    d) y= |1-3x^2|
    e) y= √(2+7x)

    of course , a function maps an object x from one set to an image y in the other set . In short f(x)=y

    Tell me this- do you know what the definition of "function" is?

    And if you don't, why in the world would you expect to be able to do this problem until you had looked up the definition.
