    Finding co-ordinates

    Find the co ordinates of a ,if a is the point of intersection of L, and the x axis. L is the line. x + y = 5

    After I got the slope , -1 , I don't know what to do next it's the wording that's getting me I think.

    I don't think finding the slope here is all that relevant.

    To find where L:x+y=5 hits the x-axis just make y = 0

    L:x+0=5

    L:x=5 and as y = 0 at this point then

     a=(5,0)
