Finding co-ordinates
Find the co ordinates of a ,if a is the point of intersection of L, and the x axis. L is the line. x + y = 5

After I got the slope , -1 , I don't know what to do next it's the wording that's getting me I think.

I don't think finding the slope here is all that relevant.

To find where $L:x+y=5$ hits the x-axis just make $y = 0$

$L:x+0=5$

$L:x=5$ and as $y = 0$ at this point then

$a=(5,0)$

Right I see what I done wrong, thanks.
