Thread: Help again please, Revenue function

A revenue function is R(x)=22x and a cost function is C(x)= -9x+341. whats the break-even point, my answer is 17 and 374, not sure if I have this set up right, any help given, big thanks

Break-even means no profit, no loss, just even.
So, Revenue = Cost.
R(x) = C(x)
22x = -9x +341
22x +9x = 341
31x = 341
x = 341/31
x = 11

Therefore, when x = 11, it is break-even.
