Having trouble with continuous growth rate and growth rate
I am having dificulties solving the following problem:

Q=2e^(1-3t/4) give the starting value a, the growth rate r and the continuous growth rate k.

I've tried to solve this problem several ways and I kept getting stuck.
Please lend a hand if you can -- thanks.

To find the starting value make t=0.

How does your book distinguish between the "growth rate" and the "continuous growth rate"? Is the latter the value in the exponent, and the former the annualized value?
