    quadratic equation problem 3

    x^2 - 50=0
    (7.07)(7.07) - 50 =0

    Is this the correct way to write out a quadratic equation like that?

    x^2-50=0

    This is a quadratic equation

    I assume that you want to solve for x

    x^2=50

    <br /> x=\pm 7.07<br />

    Is that what you want to know ?
