relations and functions
determine the domain and range of the relation and state if it a function or not.
{(7, 3), (5, 1), (3, 1), (1, 1)}
i dont remember ever learning this in class but it is on my finals review.
anyone care to explain how to do it? and what domain/range means?
thanks.

Given a set of ordered pairs (that is a relation), the domain of the relation is the set of first terms; the range (the image) is the set of second terms. If two pairs have the same first term then relation may be a function.
