I think, you need to find intersection of 3 lines and you will have only 1 point (if there are any solution).

Than it's easy to find min of function f. - Oct 4th 2009, 05:38 AMialbrekht
you can start from

cy+bz=a

az+cx=b

bx+ay=c

z=1/b(a-cy)

a/b(a-cy)+cx=b

bx+ay=c

x=1/b(c-ay)

a^2/b-(ac/b)y+c^2/b-(ac/b)y=c

-2(ac/b)y=c-(a^2+c^2)/b

y=2*(a^2-bc+c^2)/ac

and now it's easy to find x and z.
