Thread: trig stuff in calculus

I've kind of jumped into calculus head first. My last math class was stat. in 2005 so ive been alittle lost at certain things. So far things have been coming through rather well (Thanks in part to the people here), but I have a hard time comprehending some of the trig stuff throughout calc. For instance, could anyone give an explaination or a link to a useful site explaining the methods used in Question 2 parts a b and c http://www.math.uconn.edu/%7Ehaga/ma...0Solutions.pdf?
