Find equation of sine curve given maximum and mininum values.

Trig Graphs:Find an equation of a sine curve with the minimum of (-7pi/12,-11/4) and a maximum at (15pi/8,7/6)

i found the amplitude is 47/24 and the vertical shift is -19/24. Im confused about how to find the period and phase shift.

ok, so you have a possible form of $\displaystyle y = \frac {47}{24} \sin k(x + b) - \frac {19}{24}$

now, plug in the two points you were given one at a time to obtain two simultaneous equations. solve them to find $\displaystyle k$ and $\displaystyle b$.
