# Math Help - (fof)(1)

Let f(x)= 2x^3+1 and g(x)= 3x^2+4 . Find the value of the composite function (fof)(1) and (gog)(0).

For some reason, I cannot get the answer to the first, although a solution to the first would be great for the second to make sure im doing it correctly.

$f[f(x)] = f(2x^3+1) = 2(2x^3+1)^3 + 1$

3. thanks. the reason i wasnt getting the correct answer is because i had a squared instead or cubed exponent for the large bracket
