Absolute Value?
Ugh beginning of the year and I already need help =/
Anyways, the instructions said to use absolute value notation to define each interval (or pair of intervals) on the real number line.

So the number line reads x≤4 and x≥10. How do I find the the absolute value notation? Step by step instructions would be helpful since I need to do the rest of it myself =P

consider the x-value midway between x= 10 and x = 4 ...

the distance between x and 7 is greater than or equal to 3

$|x-7| \ge 3$
