Help with a few questions
I would really appreciate any help on these math questions. They are giving me tons of trouble

Simplify- and tell which conic section it is: 2x^2 + 4x +y^2 +10y = 25

Ellipse: x^2 +4y^2 + 8y + 6x = 23
Standard Equation:
Center:
Vertices
Co-certices
Foci

Circle: x^2 + 4y +y^2 = 12
Translated 6 units left and 4 units up

Standard Form:
Translated Form:

I don't know what you are looking for but:

$\displaystyle 2x^2 + 4x +y^2 +10y = 25$

becomes:

$\displaystyle 2(x^2 + 2x) +(y^2 +10y) = 25$

or:

$\displaystyle 2(x + 1)^2 - 2 +(y + 5)^2 -25 = 25$

which simplifies to:

$\displaystyle (x + 1)^2 +\frac{(y + 5)^2}{2} = 26$

Which is an ellipse with centre at (-1,-5).
