Find the equation of the curve COD assuming it is of the form y=ax^2n.
C(-60,18) O(0,0), D(40,8).

How on earth do i even do this question???

Plug in your points. This will give you tree equations. Then solve the system of thes equations for numbers a and n.

3. hmmm could you please show me how to simultaneously solve these...

I've got
18 = a * 3600^n

AND

8 = a * 1600^n

which becomes 10 = (3600^n - 1600^n) * a

try dividing the two equations instead of subtracting them.

5. 1I've got 18/3600^n = 8/1600^n but I dont know how to go about solving n ....I tried cross multiplying
