Thread: surds? rational? irrational?

is that surd of all number (of course except perfect number like 1,4,9,16,25,36,49,.........

then the surd of ALL number otherwise then those perfect number must be irrational number? (that cannot be written as fraction?)

It appears that you're using a very narrow definition of surd. By surd it looks like you mean square root. Read this thread: http://www.mathhelpforum.com/math-he...rrational.html
