    Inequality/limit

    For this graph http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/6213/graph.png,

    I need to find the set of all values of a that make the following inequality true, Limit as x approaches a- for f(x) \leqf(a)

    As you approach any of those solid dots from the left, you'll be approaching from the segment directly below it, until you get to x > 1, at which point the segments are above the dots.

    So I think they're asking for the x-values of the dots, but only for x < 1.

    I'm to put the values into interval notation,
    What i have is (-4,-3)U(-3,-2)U(-2,-1) etc. ,however i'm doing something wrong
